Completely recoded this site for my friend, from static HTML to PHP, giving him the easy management of his pictures, including easy categorizing, portfolio adding and deletion.
A brand new feature of the site has also been added; Comments for all pictures, giving users the ability to post feedback on his photos.
Libraries
PHP Libraries that can come in handy
FlexAuth is a library for the PHP framework CodeIgniter.
The available Authentication libraries posted on CodeIgniter forums didn't fill my needs, so I decided to code my own from scratch.
It's made with security and flexibility in mind, and currently allows you to automatically turn off the login feature if the library detects a DOS (Configurable and optional), choose identifier (email, username or both) with OpenID, FacebookConnect ect. support to come. You can even define all your tables in the config file and the library will automatically find the correct tables/fields to put data gotten from the register form fields!
